Denise Marman Owner-operator of the Academic Associates Learning Center in Auburn. Teaching Style I have a gentle, patient approach to teaching. Students feel comfortable with me. In my eight years working with students, I have built a good rapport with each one, so I can find out what motivates them and how they best learn. My Goals My goal is to make students feel good about themselves. I want them to feel that with effort, they can succeed. I also want them to feel at ease saying, “I don’t understand,” and not feel embarrassed. I love it when they leave with a smile on their face and know they have accomplished something! |
